Photoessay #2575 - Ilana on Nanowrrimo

Ilana's featured in the Lafayette Journal and Courier.  The newspaper interviewed her the other day as she isi one of the liasons for Nanowritmo or National Novel Writing Month.  She's done this for lots of years.  You write a 50K word novel in the month of November.  She writes in a different genre every year though she's not sure she still has some of them.  She's written science fiction, one crime novel set in 1970s Los Angeles, an Indiana Jones style thriller, whole bunch more.

This year she's writing some chick lit.  Some women gather in Seattle twenty years later for a funeral.  Later than what; who cares about major plot holes?

She's write, she did meet her fiance at a Nanowrimo kickoff.  He just turned 24 yesterday, happy birthday Matt.

Nice interview and picture.
