Suzie and I did this crossword puzzle.  The whole thing!  Together!

We were all proud.  We took a picture to show it with Scoutie.

Scoutie on a ferry ride

Last xmas Suzie asked us to give Scout an experiment present.  So we decided on a ferry ride.  And, a few weeks ago, we did it.  Not exactly how we planned but it worked great.  The original plan was to take Edmonds Kingston as walk ons, walk to the ice cream and crepe place, hang around and walk back onto the ferry.  But Megan needed to make a delivery on Bainbridge Island so we did it that way.  Fun stop at a garden store, then drive to Kingston and have the crepes, play in the park and drive back onto the ferry.  I think Scoutie liked it.  From the back of the ferry with Seattle in the background.

Birthday popsicle

As a birthday treat, my daughter in law Megan called and invited me to have a birthday popsicle.  With Scoutie natch.  So we went down to the store.  I picked a fancy one, cherry brownie.  Cherry flavored with cherries and chocolate brownie inside.  Very tasty.

Scoutie's having a birthday pretty soon, she will be 3!

Going to the Ducks game

Last Friday, I went to the Oregon Ducks game with Megan, Suzie and Scout.  I dressed in whatever Oregon stuff that I had left including Suzie's letter jacket.  We sat in the outfield and we had a great time with other Oregon fans.

Did I mention that we were playing the Washington Huskies.  Yes I have many ties to UW but when UW plays UO, I have go with UO.

UO mercied UW 9-0.

Scoutie had a great time eventually running all around.  Some coach gave her a ball.

A good time was had by all.

Scoutie is ON it

When Scoutie saw the valentines we sent.  Her moms likely explained that you make valentines for people and family that you care about.  So she was ALL OVER that.  She got busy because she was going to make Valentines too.  She wanted those red hearts and the pictures and the paste.  She was making valentines right now.

Bath tourism is alive!

Bath tourism is alive and well.  Scoutie (age 2) and Frank (age 3) saw the bathtub in grandparent's house and decided that they would take a bath!  Of course!  Last year when Frank visited he took a bath in every bathtub he saw.  Much splashing and squealing.

The dry dock at the beach

One of the most fun activities at Edmonds beach was watching the guy move boats around at the dry dock facility.  Kept Frankie busy for quite some time.  Naomi brought a special treat with matching clothes for her and the grandkids.  Frankie with his shirt and Scoutie with the dress matching Aunt Naomi.  I think that Tiny Simon got one too.

So much to do at Edmonds beach
