Photoessay #2084 - Charl's self portrait

This is one of two pictures that my brother posted on his new photo wev\bsite.  Interesting; he fiddles with pictures in photoshop (and beyond) a lot.

What strikes me--

• Picture of himself at age 58
• Those eyebrows, never noticed thembefore
• Wearing the hat-logs of times men of this age wear hats when onstage or in pictures because they are sensitive of their thinning hair.  But my brother has a ton of hair.  Then again, I haven't seen him in a while
• Face a little fleshy
• Lighting dramatic from the right,,..shadow
• Strong pose, upright
• Ears look funny
• Good gaze

Good courage.  Of course I put up my pictures of myself.  But I don't look as good ad he does.

Does he look my father?  No, not really.  Does he act like my father? Sometimes and sometimes not

An interesting person to get to know, that the positive message from this picture.

I found a little bit of water by the sliding glass door this morning.  Still storming but not as much precipitation.  High wind warning next four hours and it is breezy out there.  I really hate the wind because it can translate into Losing Power.  And we all hate that.
