I'm pleased to report that the computer transfer is just about complete. Some new ways to get used to but, so far, all to the positive. It's taken some days but no real crises, as in the past. Our idea this time was to replace the computer before it started dying. The new computer did sit there for eight months before we got around to it.
Today is Melina's 12th birthday. Who can believe that I have a 12 year old granddaughter?? She's doing fine, going to middle school. I asked, what's your favorite class? She said Math because they had a multiplication test every Friday and if you met your goal, you got a Starburst. She said they are studying percents right now.
So I need to show my group at the zoo yesterday. Melina, Danny, Dennis. She's still pretty short for 12 years old but she'll be fine. We saw most all the animals. My favorites this time? I think the moose (or were they elk) in the back part of the northern exhibit. And Chinta, who likes to look at ears.
The zoo involves a LOT of walking and we were all tired at the end.
