I want to congratulate my niece Krystal and her fiance Matt on their recent engagement. They expect to marry in March. I've always admired Krystal for her steadfastness, sensibility, her devotion to her family and her grace. Matt has a real talent for connecting with people young and old. From the first time I met him, I marveled at his gentle touch with Krystal's older relatives. He always gave the impression that being at a family event with numerous great aunts, grandmothers pleased him. From the first time I saw them together, I could see that they adored each other.
I know that they both value their faith very deeply. They want to consecrate their marriage with lots of people and celebration. I know family members will help them as they can.
Krystal has often taken the role of organizing family events; she's always there with her contribution and her warm smile. I know she looks forward to her future role as a wife and, who knows what life might bring, maybe a mother.
