Photoessay #2107 - Christine and Myrtle Falls

We encountered this beautiful waterfall towards the end of our Mt. Rainier trip yesterday. That bridge across the waterfall is the road. The girls called out 'waterfall!' and we decided to stop. We did manage to turn around and find a place to park then walk across the narrow bridge with traffic coming both directions.

We made it down to the overlooks, definitely worthwhile. The girls had a good time taking pictures. I've never heard of this waterfall but it's a beaut.

Second picture is Myrtle Falls near Paradise. We had to hike to that one. Even though it was .5 mile and 100 foot gain, I found it challenging. Nice mountain background.

Got a response from "Connecticut History" today that they are sending out my paper for review. Could this be the 'peer review'? I think it's pretty positive news!
