Photoessay #2092 - Brothers of a different mother

Tucker, a black lab, visited Friday evening and Saturday during the party.

He and Teddy almost immediately established a common interest.  Fetch.

They both would chase a thrown tennis ball endlessly.  Teddy specializes in delivering that ball right to your feet.  Tucker, not so much.

Turns out they are almost exactly the same age (3 years old, within a month), the same size.  Both from the tiny town of Roy in Pierce County.  Tucker is a purebred Labrador Retreiver.  Teddy, well, he's a mutt, you know whoever was hanging aroud in back of Fort Lewis at the time.

But they would both chase as many balls as any fool would throw.  They had so much fun together and just ran their legs off.

Picture shows Melina getting ready to throw that ball.
