Last night, Charlie and I attended the second session of my digital photography class. At the end, we did an in-class session about slow shutter speed and light painting. We made the room as dark as we could. The assistant teacher assumed several poses and Leslie, the teacher, used a light beam to draw lines of light. We were supposed to have a long exposure, using the bulb option (that's when you determine the length of the exposure. But Charlie and I, who have both have 'hybrid' point and shoot cameras, don't have a bulb option. So we had to mess with the exposure as best we could.
We took a bunch of really weird pictures.
Actually Charlie and I have the most weenie cameras in the class. Everybody else has single lens reflex cameras. So we often can see what we can't do.
Pretty weird!
