Photoessay #1312 - Sunny weekend

Beautiful weekend in Seattle. Almost all of the rhodedendrons blooming and the windows and doors are all open. My huge rhody in back is just bursting in bloom.

The Washington LadyHawks softball team was playing locally and Dennis wanted to go watch them. All three playing in the same tournament. So we went up to Marysville on Saturday afternoon with Teddy in tow. Teddy likes the Kent Service fields to the south better. The fences are configured so that you (if you're a dog) can greet the team members as they come off the field each inning. Plus there seemed to be more people more likely to give doggie handouts (leftover hot dogs are good but he's not particular).

So we watched all three teams play and then Dennis returned this morning. We saw a SIFF movie (Sandcastle) and I made an early dinner. Then Dennis announced he was going back to watch the last games. Why not?

Picture of Dennis chatting with Wayne who has taken over the LadyHawks program and brand six years or so. Often I speak about recruiting but I think I'm too far away from it. But the two of them had a great time yacking in the sunshine.

Notice the snazzy new cooler Dennis is carrying. We had one that size we've had for years. Susanna used it when she had the house painting job. I looked at it, was stained, ripped and generally gross. I declared time for a new small cooler.
