Photoessay #911 - Even when it's chilly

Mountlake Terrace Dog Park, my hangout. Thursday around 1pm on a chilly December day, temp probably in the low forties. Who cares if it's cold? Who cares if it's the middle of a weekday? Always people at the dog park! I find it very relaxing to hang out at the dog park for an hour. Teddy really gets along with the people and the dogs. I took this picture just as I arrived and you can see that Teddy is already making acquaintance with a new person. hanging out with other dogs. He loves wrestling and is becoming more interested in the 'fetch' activities.

He did wrestle with a shepherd mix Gulliver. Today, temp is in the high thirties, pretty cold out there. Ilana was not working; she agreed to take Teddy over. People there, of course. She reported that Popcorn tried to hump Teddy many times. Nobody can figure out why Popcord (a golden lab) is driven to do this all the time. He played fetch and played some kind of low key game with a Corgi.

Still can't figure out why that Rockford Park didn't have people there. Now, there are quite a few dog parks in our area. Mountlake Terrace is one of the smallest. But still people.

If you feel crabbed out about work or anything else, go hang out at a dog park. They'll cheer you right up.
