Photoessay #858 - Harvesting apples

Ten month old Teddy has taken over maintenance on my apple tree which blew over horizontal over 20 years ago. But it's still here somehow having grown branches upwards. He prunes and trims the limbs that he can reach. He eats up the fallen apples (mmmmm, good).

Here, he sees an apple that he wants that's WAYYY up there. He leaps up trying to get that apple from the grass and from the deck.

I think he got it. He's showing great doggy determination.

I will not be able to do the blog esp with pictures for the next week as Dennis and I go on a trip to Ashlan to watch some plays and generally hang around Oregon. Internet will be sporadic.
