The Famer's Market has started up again every Sunday down in the Lake Forest Park Mall parking lot. I love it! I resolve this year to cook and eat substantially in the local produce available there. Eating healthy and local. Sure, I buy a lot from Costco but I hate the idea of all of the waste shipping this produce from far far away. Why? We don't HAVE to do it. This past week, I bought a lot of asparagus, baby bok choy, brussel sprouts and salad mix. I also bought salad onions and garlic but I misplaced them, must have left them in my post Bastyr treatment haze.
Not particularly cheap but you can buy small amounts.
