Yaeger Rock

We're taking these Eastern Washington trips partly because of "Nick on the Rocks" a series of short videos featuring geology features done by Central Washington University professor.

He talked about erratics on the Waterville plateau; big rocks that were carried by glaciers and deposited all over in this remote landscape.  It's pretty quiet there though it's less than an hour from Chelan.  There's a little town Mansfield.

The big rock on the top photo is Yaeger Rock on Rt 172 a few miles from Mansfield.  The second photo shows Dennis and Bowed crawling around nearby.

We were pretty proud of ourselves for actually finding it.
