I am sorry to report the death of Dennis' Uncle Allen Hartley. We had quite a lot of happy times with him. He accompanied us for two trips to Hawaii to watch Oregon softball. He loved being social, always there with a smile. Women were a bit of a puzzle to him though he was always looking for that companion. He liked going places, talking about wine and driving fast cars. He had a Corgi named Sunny who was close to him. Until recently he was riding the STP (bicycle ride from Seattle to Portland). He helped with his sister Anne. Alzheimers; he went quickly. Many kudos to his daughter Cheryl who arranged for his care in the last year or two and managed to dispose of his possessions. I enjoyed Cheryl a lot when she came up here.
