Dennis and his radical feminist buddies have been planning this for a long time. Everybody knew that the Roe v Wade Supreme Court decision was coming. But when? The idea was to have a 'spontaneous' demonstration at the Federal Building downtown. There have been some false alarms but that just convinced them that they were under-organized. They couldn't get a permit because they didn't know the date. But they got a lot of other things organized. Here's a shot from the Seattle Times (used without permission.) There were three 'decisionmakers with bright green hats. Dennis is one of them. Having the cars at the beginning and the end to keep the crowd together are from Occupy and Black Lives Matter demonstration.
You can see Dennis here but you might have to click on the picture to see it. He's in the bottom left with the bright green hat. I've used some dark blue to highlight him.
They really did not plan to march (maybe at the end) but these many people have to go somewhere so they marched up Marion, from 4th to Westlake than down 2nd back to the Federal Building, blocking the streets all the way.
Dennis was hungry and exhausted when he got home. Supposedly he was supposed to go this evening to handle a big banner on a freeway overpass (it's a Seattle thing). But since I've been eating by myself way too many times this week, I had a fit about as I need to do from time to time. He has two events tomorrow....
