The new ride -- new Prius

And it's blue!  A new Prius.  Likely our last new car.  Anyway, it's a step below the car we almost bought in Edmonds last week.  But still has plenty of gadgets and electronic assists.  As I mentioned, we saved 10K buying it in Bremerton.  We got the car with 8 miles on it, drove it home now at 96.  When we got home, we parked it in the garage and haven't driven it since.

With our New Lifestyle, there are plenty of days that we don't go anywhere.

But we will.  Just still a little shocked.  UW starts next week, I still don't feel comfortable taking the bus.  I drove and parked last quarter.  But I'm also out of my (expired) parking passes so I will have to start paying retail.

It has all wheel drive and bluetooth (if we could only figure it out).  But last night, we discovered that it had (by design) no spare tire.  At first we were concerned but I asked, had we ever used the spare tire in our last Prius.  We couldn't remember ever using it so I guess it's ok.

Interesting that the label on the window indicates that 100% of the parts are from Japan and it was assembled at the Tokyo Aichi facility.  I looked it up.  Reminded me of what I learned when we visited Japan.  Don't ever look at the map, you will never figure it out, give up now.

So here it is, our new ride!
