An offering

I heard today (ok, it was through Facebook) that my brother and sister in law traveled to Grandma Anne' burial site on Whidbey island to place a special rock near the place where we buried her ashes.  The Ash Garden in the small cemetery near the small town of Langley is a quiet place with a good vibe.  The rock featured a kitty, Grandma Anne did like cats.  Maybe Loreen painted the kitty herself?  She's a talented artist and likes to make miniatures.  I'll have to ask her myself.

It was a nice touch to go up to Langley and honor her.  The Ash Garden is a heavily forested gully.

We could have come too!  We just were around here working on our usual projects.  I sent the COVID interviews I did with synagogue members and a rabbi in Richland and Spokane.  Including the link to vimeo interview and the transcription.  The Archives committee has been working on this project since September.  Nearing completion, a great example of a committee working together with all helping to complete a substantial project.   We did the whole thing ourselves.  Dennis helped a lot.

A thoughtful offering for Grandma Anne's from her son and daughter in law.
