It's very hard to take a picture of a black cat. Matt and Ilana's black cat Voldemort; very smart and very friendly. 10 years old. He was about 3 years old when they got him. When they went to the shelter, they found out that people don't like to adopt black cats. So they did. But Mort has some pretty serious kidney problems. They had expensive medical devices put in about a year ago. Mort has been doing well moving from Lafayette to Bloomington. But Mort isn't doing well right now, he's in the pet hospital with kidney issues.
We hope for a recovery for the Dark Lord.
A year or so ago, they decided to get a second cat and, since they were on a roll, they got a second black cat Minerva. Minerva is short a few kitty cards and mostly looks perplexed and baffled. She depends on Voldemort to tell her what to do next. But they said she had Exceeded Expectations on her annual Kitty Review.
