We decided to have our housekeeper come today. She was a little worried about catching it from us and we were a little worried the other way around. So we decided that she would come and we wouldn't be there. Which gives us 3+ hours to do something else. When nothing is open. I called out some suggestions to Dennis. We agreed to go north. Love the Skagit valley. Hmm Rexville Grocery is closed. How about Bellingham. Probably too far. What about Chuckanut Drive? This appealed. Maybe we could find a Mexican place in Bellingham.
So we took off. Chuckanut Drive was beautiful, very nice choice. We took the dog who was thrilled. We stopped at the state park to look around. When we got to Bellingham, I scouted a Mexican market that served takeout. Website in Spanish; good sign. We went there (La Glordia) ordered up a plate of food and went to a local park. Dog continues to be thrilled. Quite good. However I through the leftover hot sauce into some rice and it was TOO MUCH.
Came home; that was our short trip to Bellingham. Took 4 hours.
