Today we attended a 50th wedding anniversary party for my friends MaryAnn and Pat C. at their home. They're the couple in the middle flanked by their maid of honor and best man who got married the next week. Plenty of people there have known them longer than I .. but .. I met MaryAnn when she called us for our first pre-adopt meeting 38 years ago. So that probably makes us old friends! We've been through some thick and thin but still do things regularly. She likes taking Access classes also.
Most all their grandchildren were there; they were helping and Laila made a great coat girl!
Congratulations! It's an achievement!
Dennis and I marked 43 years so far.
