Political Art - Proof of concept needed

So I'm thinking of a project, maybe get some of my artistic friends involved.  Suck in Dennis, natch.

Some political art at the Northwest Detention Center.  The lower picture shows the current artwork in front of the Welcome Center (very tired) RV.  Somebody crocheted flags of different countries, put them together to make letters and attached them to the crummy 'looks temporary but not going anywhere' chain leak fence.  Above, somebody has put up a banner "You shall love the stranger as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt"

Everybody loves this artwork.  I don't know who made it.  But it's exposed to the elements and is getting stretched out, faded.  I'm not suggesting that we mess with this.  But I'm thinking of the dove (as pictured) on the panel of chain link to the left.  Use slats (that was Kolette's idea).  That could be simple (maybe) and durable.

In the pictures, you could see the railroad track, the regular security fence, the parking lot and the Detention Center itself (a privately run immigration prison).  Make no mistake, this is a cursed evil place on Tacoma Tideflats.

It needs some proof of concept though ....
