Photoessay #2564 - Wedding flowers

I know that both Janine and Ilana have ambivalent feelings about spending a lot of money on flowers for their weddings.   But, this is one time where I think you can drop some change if you can manage it.  If you are having a conventional wedding (or even if you're not) the bride should have some flowers.

I remember telling that to a friend.  Her very shy daughter and just called her and said she was getting married at the courthouse.  The miom had very little time but enough for a support call.  What should she do?  I suggested just blasting by a florist and getting some flowers.  My friend said "You're right, a bride needs flowers.  Gotta go!"

So Janine did order some flowers.  The bridesmaids carried a single sunflower and there were a few sunflowers to decorate the aisle.  This was the bride's bouuet.  I think it came out great.  Her colors were yellow and gray.  The designer brought out the colors and using sunflowers but slipping in some colorful daisies and yellow roses.  Pretty!
