How about a shot of Ilana, the Maid of Honor, holding the bride's bouquet while the vows are said and rings exchanged. She did a great job from what I hear, sticking by Janine through the various challenges in the days before the wedding.
We've talked; what have we learned from Janine's wedding that you can use? Besides insisting on an outdoor venue with no indoor option in late September. And it poured like crazy. No parking lot, few bathrooms. She's not making that mistake. Ilana has lined up a commercial wedding venue. They do weddings all the time. Use people who do this as their day job.
Her wedding in June will be simpler and shorter. That's the plan. The mistake everybody seems to make is to not assign wedding setup tasks to others. Somehow the bride always thinks she can set it up herself. That never works! Ilana says, I realize that you need a good B team. Your A team is the wedding party, they have to get ready. The difference is the B team, they're the folks that will make it how you want it. But you have to think it through. She's got a good B team going in; her high school buddies (Marie, Erin, Katherine, Nicole) plus the greater Gellermans.
Use your B team! That's the challenge!!!
