Photoessay #2558 - Vows from the altar

A real time shot from last Saturday's wedding.

The wedding vows.

I thought this was a slick system.  You have one piece of paper and you have your vows on either side.  That way they both could hold up the piece and the microphone between them.  Their vows were both thoughtful and articulate.  Nice.

Who can resist a blubbering groom?  I've found (mostly from athletic coaches) that the bigger they are, the more likely they are to start sobbing.  Check out the photographer's blog for an overcome groom.  He's a big guy too.

Actually they both started crying and it was very sweet how they attempted to share the kleenex that the groom had in his pocket.

Ilana, the maid of honor, had a dress with pockets which she found very useful.  That's one complaint about wedding dresses, she reports to me.  No pockets.  Where do you put your kleenex or maybe your vows except down the front of your dress.

It''s a conspiracy.
