Naomi did much the same thing. Her hair was halfway down her back and she cut it cut to about the same length. Her hair is lighter, straight and not as thick as Ilana's. She calls it her 'teacher cut'.
Susanna would have probably done the same with her long hair though she was busy with the young kids that she's so committed to.
Neither of my genetic daughters inherited my extremely thin fine hair, thank goodness. Susanna's hair came in late (When she was little, people used to say, it's so cute how you cut her hair so short, but I had never cut it.) She was well over four years old before her hair grew more than an inch. Now it's very thick.
So now every body's gone to Indiana, Ellensburg and Alabama to go back to work and school. Danny down at Northgate clearly has not stopped working during this time.
