Photoessay #2834 - Baking

Even though I try to avoid it, baking happens during the winter holidays.  Naomi started it.  She ended up making her own birthday cake and then I decided that I would make a carrot cake.  Got this recipe online.  This big boy is extremely tasty.  Grating the carrots is the hard part; that's why I have Susanna.  Also has pineapple, walnuts and more than a cup of buttermilk.  You put a butter/buttermilk/vanilla glaze on when it's out of the oven, then a cream cheese frosting.  This sucker is not on anybody's diet.

I think I'll make it for the Christmas eve/Christmas day things I have to go to.

Other than that, I'm bringing fresh fruit!
