My youngest, Naomi, 23 years old yesterday. What does that mean that, my baby, is 23 years old. That means that it's been a long time since a baby has come into our family. Except for Melina 12 year old granddaughter, of course.
Naomi chose to go to a local Hawaiian restaurant. Susana hit town so she came. Also Danny and Jessica. I tried to get some more specifics regarding wedding planning (it's July 20), rehearsal dinner, actual rehearsal, Melina but didn't get very far.
Naomi made a cake herself which we ate when we got home. The weather was pretty extreme here but apparently the worst of the storm went south of us. Maybe some snow in the next few days. The pass (the I90 Snoqualmie pass) was closed all last night; I see it's open now. They closed 70 miles of the road. With Naomi going to school at Washington State (in Pullman) and now at Central Washington) in Ellensburg, we're always watching that darn pass. It's not as high as the California high Sierra passes but the Cascades are big time impressive and stormy mountains.
Things calm right now. Susanna over with the kids she cares a lot about.
Picture of Naomi at restaurant last night. Yes, she got her hair cut big time. She calls it her 'teacher cut'.
Readers! Clearly you are not watching....I had Naomi 232 years old instead of 23, she's old but not THAT old.
