Photoessay #2825 - Birmingham Pot Luck

I took this picture from my daughter Susanna's facebook.  There they are, the Occupational Therapy students at University of Alabama, Birmingham.  You can pick out Susanna pretty easy, she's the asian kid, right near the middle, with the whiite shirt holding up two fingers.

Great for me to see the whole group after hearing about it for so long.  Such an epic adventure, to go to a graduate program in such an unfamiliar area of the country.  Lots of bucks too.  She really really wanted to go to OT school, it took taking a ton of prerequisities, applications to 16 schools, four interviews, two waitlists until...victory!

Of course, that's just the beginning.  She's made it through her first (out of seven) semesters.  Go Susanna!  Also thanks to Megan and puppy Hammy.

We hope to visit in the spring.  This was some sort of holiday pot luck.  This class is a bit larger than most...
