Photoessay #2806 - This year's Thanksgiving

If you know me, the first question that might come to your mind.  Where are your other guests?  Ususally I have a bunch and I like that.  But this year, we had a great time even though there was just 5 of us.  Ilana and Matt are visiting Susanna and Megan in Alabama.  The Garrisons who have come over for years and year, well there sons have gotten older, they want to bring their girlfriends, so they have their own.  And some of the older family members, they've passed away.

So things change.  Quite a few of my friends say the same thing.  We're really small this year.  Just that life course stuff.

But Danny and Jessica came with Maddie, their little dog.  Who immediately and loudly had to let Teddy know that she was the big boss.  Lots of yapping and barking.  We threw them out, we let them back in, they evenutally calmed down.

We had a nice time, lots of smiling and laughing.  Talk about their upcoming wedding.  They had no idea there was so many things to think about.

So by about 2pm, it was all over including most of the cleanup.  Of course, I cooked like there were 15 people so lots and lots of leftovers.
