Photoessay #2077 - My political activism

Here's the campaign sign that is in my yard.  Supporting Referendum 74, marriage for same sex couples.  I've given some money but never could quite connect to know what else I could do.  I didn't want to make phone calls.  I've hung up on plenty of people who have called me.  Though now it seems like they're mostly robocalls.  Which I hate and everybody else hates.

My house is on the end of a cul-de-sac so nobody really drives by.  Great for having kids, that was a huge plus for us.  None of my neighbors have mentionedthe sign.  It's ahead in the polls and all kinds of prominent people and institutions are supporting.  However, it's hard to pass in a general election.

I'm glad to live in a blue state, at least my half is pretty blue.  Washington is not a swing state so we have very few candidates come through here.  The eastern half of the state is much more rural and conservative.

We've had some attempts at installing picture editing software.  Looks like I will have to fall back on our original plan of buying a new version of Photoshop on Monday.
