Photoessay #2075 - New computer

Dennis, in a pre-emptive move, bought a new desk top computer for me about 8 months ago.  But then he got sick and then lost interest and it has sat in a corner in our office.

My computer was starting to experience that 'sicken and die' behavior and we all know where that goes.

So, while I was at parent group last night, he attempted to install the new computer and move my things.

I want to go on record that I think this is all going to work out just fine.  Eventually.  I'm now using Windows 7 and I think I will survive.  I am writing this on the new computer.

We don't have Thunderbird or my old mail moved so still picking up on old machine.  But maybe find a way to do it.

We can't figure out how to move Photoshop or Elements from old computer so may have to buy new versions.  I use these things daily.

Don't know how to use scanner yet

Kind of figured how to import pictures from camera but don't have way to fuss with them, maybe.

Have no sound.  Filemaker won't work.

But it's getting there, I must believe, I will survive.
