Photoessay #2070 - Women in Revolution

Just want to feature a new organization and business organized by friends of mine Women in Revolution, which includes a facebook page about their efforts to raise awareness and funds for civilians caught in the civil war in Syria.  They're selling cards they've designed and produced through their business http://paintedmessages.com/home

Doesn't Linda make beautiful cards?  I'm buying some.

Today, I received a book "Connecticut's public schools: A history 1650-2000" through King County Interlibrary Loan.  My editor at "Connecticut History" had mentioned it and added a note to my paper.  So far, I only see a few sentences about my topic.  BUT, here's a paper I didn't know about, a senior thesis written by a Yale student in 2000 "Dispensing with Devotions; New Haven Schools and the Religions Exercise Question, 1877-8."  Hey, that's my topic!  I'm trying to see how I can get a copy of it.

Picture of a special design by Painted Messages; all proceeds to help fund Women In Revolution.
