Photoessay #2023 - Family Memorial

Today, Dennis and I attended a family memorial sister.  My sister-in-law Loreen's father.  Loreen's husband, Dave had ten relatives (including me) attending.  Why not?  We know Loreen as a family member, for years.  So why not show the respect.  When you can do it.  We picked up Grandma Anne and headed off to the small city of Edgewood (never heard of it) just across the Pierce County line.

Church was mostly full, 100+ people.  Short service, planned 4 testimonials (from a childhood friend, fellow American Legion, son, granddaughter) no open mike.  Sermon kind of big on damnation and salvation, Calvinist rather, you are a sinner, etc etc.  Simple buffet.  Chatted for awhile.  A good show from our side of the family.  And a feeling of being part of an intact family.

Dennis will make a run to Ellensburg with the van and various furniture pieces belonging to various family members to set up a student apartment.  Naomi will come back for several days as she has several pet jobs to complete.
