Photoessay #2101 - Blue Hydrangea

I saw some beautiful dark blue hydrangea blossoms on some bushes at the University of Washington campus this morning.  I've pondered taking some pictures of them tomorrow.  But I don't want to lug around my camera.  Actually I might do it anyway.

I found this picture on the internet with obscure provenance.

Again I enjoyed myself at my class this morning.  One of the students read one of their short papers about their own religious story.  Exceptionally well-written and evocative.  The ten of us applauded.  The professor also said that he had read my devotional exercise paper and he really liked it.  Asked me to talk about it a little bit to the class and make it available to the class.  Whoo hoo!

He also recommended a book "Secular Revolution".  After class, I went right over to Suzallo and checked it out.  I think he's referring to an essay about the history of common schools.  I'm feeling really good about this whole thing.  Just four more class sessions.

I've enjoyed this class a lot (you can probably tell because I write about it all the time).  I don't know if I'll have such a great experience again but, for right now, I'm all for continuing.
