Melina will throw the ball for him. He LOVES chasing the ball. It's a great game, he explains to anybody who will listen, this is how it works. You throw the ball and I will take off after it, as fast and hard as I can. I can catch it too. I'll get it and I bring it back and drop it at your feet and then you throw it again. Get it?
So she's throwing the ball and he's taking off just as fast as he can. I know, he blends in with the mud in our backyard. Believe it or not, it's better than last year. There's some grass there that's trying to grow. Trust me on this. The lack of light (due to a very big (and getting bigger) plus very wet conditions makes grass a challenge. We even paid some tree people to trim that tree and it's bigger than ever. It does shade the back of our house so it never gets very hot in the summer.
Susanna worked so hard on that lawn last summer. Now she's going to be around more so I think she'll work on it some more now that a lot of us here are in official gimp status.
