Photoessay #1998 - Early Spring
We froze in March, nasty cold weather. But this week not so bad. Not like a California spring, of course. Plants are waking up, starting to do their thing.
One spring, long ago, I remember being just astounded when the plants started to sprout and bloom. Maybe I was having a harder time that I admitted.
This afternoon, when Teddy and I went for a walk, I took the camera to look for signs of early spring. Definitely early spring here for awhile. As I mentioned before, spring here is a long drawn out affair.
One of my favorite shots was the weed picture. Fair amount of blooming trees. But I liked Becky's crocus and an early blooming rhody over on the next street.
