A bunch of guys upstairs have been pounding and cutting and whatever it is they do installing our new floor since early this morning and most of yesterday. We'll have new laminate flooring that looks like wood but is not wood in living room, dining room, kitchen, hallway, stairs and front entry. The living and dining room will have area rugs. The living room one will probably cover most of the living room.
It took a long time for this all to come together but once these guys attack, it's all out. I've been staying downstairs. Teddy with me. He's got no interest at all to go up there to see what all that's about. He stays with me, his ears go up at every sound but it's all too much for him. As James says "He's such a sensitive boy!"
Last night we also ordered a picnic table from a guy who displays them in front of his house in Mountlake Terrace. It's supposed to be here later.
Tomorrow I will probably feature our new floors!
