Continuing on the nest theme.
Ilana told me that she went to get the oil changed on the Buick (originally my mom's) and the garage staff told her that they found a huge squirrel's nest in her car!
Obviously, Ilana has not been too pro-active with the car maintenance (which is not so good). Were there squirrels in the nest? If not, when did they move out? How long has she been carting this home around?
Did they go to Indiana at Thanksgiving? Dennis and I were just visiting and driving that car around. Were we complicit?
Would some hapless squirrels have taken the trip of their life when Ilana goes down to Florida at the end of this month for her internship?
The oil change guys took the squirrel's nest out (and didn't charge her). She saw it; she said it was as big as two cookie sheets.
She did not take a picture. I looked around the net and found this poor quality shot of what it might have looked like.
She always did have a liking for rodents....
