Photoessay #909 - Teddy at work

Teddy working at some unusual tasks. This dog really likes obedience training. Maybe there's working dog somewhere in that pedigree. As Perry put it at Thanksgiving, "He's got everything in him but a FROG!" but not a pitt bull, nope, nope.

The first action shot is Teddy doing his latest trick. Twirl! Teddy twirls ccounter-clockwise. Does it better for a treat, of course. He learned it very quickly. He's also fond of heel (walk behind me to my left side and sits), sit, stay, down, and over. He likes 'em all. Have to think of some new tricks for him.

Teddy also busies himself with pruning activities in our backyard. Our semi vertical apple tree needs work in Teddy's estimation. He's the guy to do it. I think he has his head turned and has the wide branch in his jaws. Or not. He's busy out there.

Gave the gift-giving program at the Redmond group last night. Group of about 20; spirited, lots of laughs and contributions by the members. General feeling that their star kids would pawn a valuable gift. Tonight at Seattle. It's received a lot of hype, that does make it a little difficult.
