Photoessay #875 - Special healing

I'm an advocate for alternative therapies. Cranial-Sacral therapy has helped my back condition a lot.

Jack London Square in 2005. Krstina T, star pitcher for the UC Berkeley Cal Bears, being treated by my college roommate JJ. Using some alternative therapies on this athlete's foot. It really works. And there they are doing therapy work in the middle of Oakland's Jack London Square.

Cal and Oregon had just played. JJ had come with us and the Oregon contingent to an after game dinner with the team. Who won that day? Probably Cal. Yup, looked it up. Cal beat Oregon 1-0 that day with Kristina pitching a one hitter. Only two base runners, one single by Breane Sabol and a walk to Erin Goodell. Figures. That Kristina is a darn good pitcher. She's still playing in the National Pro Fastpitch professional league.

JJ's treatment helped Kristina a lot. She's done a lot of healing. Once, when Susanna broke her hand but she didn't realize it until 3 weeks later, JJ flew up here for the day and did some treatment on her hand prior to the casting.

JJ did get some dinner with us that evening before Dennis, JJ and I returned to JJ's home in Santa Cruz. But JJ did certainly help with this treatment right in the open.
