As Dennis says "No trip to Eugene is complete without a visit to Prince Pucklers. Ice Cream. Hole in the wall place near UO campus. Recent claim to fame is that Barack Obama et al stopped in there on a campaign swing. At the time, they proudly labeled which flavors Barack and Michelle had chosen. On one recent visit, we saw Pat Kilkenny UO Athletic Director. Everybody goes there, people perform in front of the place. Very unassuming, a number of very plain tables and chairs for people to sit and the line goes out the door.
OK, I know that this is a carb disaster. But it was on special and I didn't eat all of it. Really! Small hot fudge sundae, I think it was under $2.50. With chocolate cheesecake ice cream and Euporia Hot Fudge (another local product).
Yeah, it was as good as it looks.
And one reason I gained a pound during the week.
Sure is pouring outside. Cliff says 'heavy precipitation' Weather report says 1/2 inch of rain.
