Photoessay #862 - Servant of Two Masters

Yes, we got our tickets today. We went to the box office and told the whole sordid story plus that tickets that I calculated should have been ours and they issued 'replacement' tickets. I was quite surprised to see a whole group of well-heeled white folks standing beside the box office holding up signs trying to get tickets for this, the last weekend of the season.

On Grandma Anne's suggestion we went to a very attractive restaurant, the Dragon Fly for lunch. Mmmmm, I had a breakfast dish of eggs, avocados and cheese along with some beans and fruit. Just about a perfect low carb delicious combination.

The play itself was based on a much older play and was done in the form of commedia or street comedy with much exaggeration of language, costume and movement. Fun, with a plot line reminiscent of the Gilbert and Sullivan plays.

Afterwards we crossed hwy 66 on foot in the dark to go to a restaurant for dinner with Dave, Brian, Loreen and Krystal. Had a delicious dessert not on the low carb diet 'spiced pear upside down cake'. The cake was spiced and brown too. Very very interesting.
