The Lake Forest Park Farmer's Market will end soon. Must remember to pick up my letterbox next week. Hoping they'll let me have it there next year. Don't think it had that much biz this year.
I will miss it lots! Almost every Sunday I'm down there buying things. Not necessarily cheaper but great produce and other goodies. Beautiful fall afternoon with lots of products, many from eastern washington. Still berries from here. The West Side as it's referred to in Pullman.
Love all these peppers, so much crisper than storebought peppers. I've been buying 4 or 5 every week. Put them in everything. And I've always been fond of yellow squash, been eating it steamed and sauteed. All so brilliant! Hey, I've dropped a lot of our money down there.
The beautiful flowers, I like looking at them but I find I'm not too partial to them in the house. Don't know why.
So now you can see my life...the farmer's market, the dog park, the parent group. Is that it? Yeah, pretty much, as Dennis would say.
Susanna and Alice came by and took Teddy to the Edmonds dog park on the Sound. Ilana came home from mom'n me, took off to see Matt down at Capital Hill. She and I will meet and go to Kol Nidre this evening. Dennis off to Rainier Beach High School to watch another LadyHawk's team. Naomi somewhat struggling in Pullman, the academic work is hard and I think she's missing her familiar life.
