Some of the questions we pondered at our recent Cousins Gatherins were
1. How do we interest the young people in our family history and our relatives.
2. How will future family know we are here gathered.
I worked on the document above. We used archival paper and archival pens. We wanted this document found years from now showing we were all here and together. We also asked the participants to write a message to those in the future.
We want to hear from our ancestors and we want our descendants to hear from us.
So we made 4 big pages and asked people to sign and write. A big success. People took it seriously; we filled all the pages.
