We had the Changes picnic last weekend and it was so fun! It's special this year because it's the first one since the pandemic started and all went online. During that time we also started the Saturday Group aka National Online Chapter. The original idea was that this group would remain virtual so we could take anybody from around the country. Subsequently the Board decided that all four group would remain virtual and we would be names by the day of the week. The Saturday group quickly grew into the most well attended group.
So here I am with three out of four reps. The reps are in charge of the chapters. Here we are, me, Martha (now lives in North Carolina) and Terry (Utah). Missing is our 4th rep Soph. So you can see how important it was to see each other face to face. People traveled from far away to come to the picnic, it was that important. See the smile on Martha? It was worth driving clear across the country to be there.
Usually we would have 20-25 come to the picnic but there was over a hundred. Lots of food and Alan and Dennis D kept the grill going. Nice spot, on Silver Lake.
