A different Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was different this year (it was REALLY different last year).  I decided that it was just to tiring to host at my house.  I've been doing it 40 years or so.  So Susanna and Megan offered to host it this year.  I agreed to still cook the turkey, stuffing and gravy.  She lives less than a mile away so it's not too hard.  They did a great job with the setup; she hosted 11 people which was pretty much the family with few extras.  They also figured out who would bring what; people are used to doing that.

The fancy turkey I bought was delicious.  My turkey cooking is kind of a cult because I cook it a smaller amount of time than most.  It always comes out.

Hanukah starts tomorrow; really early this year.  But Suzie and Megan already hosted latkes a few weeks ago and I'm not feeling like doing it again.  They do a much better job.  I guess it's my job to inform my adult children.  Ilana already knows....
