Nobody wants to be the last to die in WWII

I had to make a difficult decision yesterday and decide not to travel to Indiana in a few weeks to visit my grandson Frank and his parents.  Dennis thought we should not go; it's too dangerous with the COVID surge.  Even though we are both vaccinated and so our daughter Ilana and son in law Matt.  But 5 month old Frank isn't and he's in full time daycare.  We could bring it to him; he could bring it to us.  We could still get it.

I didn't like it, not one bit.  At all.

I had a board meeting today for my Access Student group.  I talked about the cancellation.  Fay said "Nobody wants to be the last to die in World War Two!"  I interpreted that, we've made it this far, after all these months and months.  Nobody wants to do something stupid and get it now.

True.

So I guess I won't.

However, I understand the concept.  The above picture supposedly is the last person to die in WWII.  I'm sure that others died from the injuries afterward.

Tomorrow, I will has some fabulous picture of Frankie realizing that he can suck his toes!  If I can find them!
