Yesterday, we went to my sister in law Loreen's 60th birthday party. She served banana splits; I was waiting for the ice cream all week. Here is a picture of me talking with my niece Krystal. Too bad you can't see her face as she's a lovely person. Mother of two with a warm heart; so smart and compassionate. We're sitting on their little deck with a huge patch of blackberries in the background. That's what happens if you let blackberries grow wild around here. It was kind of fun as they were fruiting and the kids picked lots of black berried. But they have thorns, very nasty.
