We had our 'Lederers' cousin call yesterday with a cousin Eytan from Haifa. He knows a lot and has made progress working in Europe regarding the ancestors of Samuel Lederer (1824-1916) and Marie Abeles (1830-1909), my great great grandparents. Because my cousin Sue has done a lot of work with this side, I have not made much effort. But, now I'm getting more inspired. Both Samuel Lederer and Marie Abeles came from Bohemia, they met and married in the US. Bohemia, now part of the Czech Republic. That makes 1/8 of my heritage Bohemian, which sounds satisfactorily bohemian.
Pictured is the home town of Marie, Doudleby nad Orlici. I'm practicing spelling it.
