Father's Day

Naomi decided to host Father's Day in her new house.  She did a great job.  Originally she was thinking of a breakfast place but, being Father's Day, you better have a reservation.  But when you say 7 people, they all freak out.  So all of my local adult kids came by.  Even during popsicle season!

Hard to get a picture without people's backs.  But Suzie, Megan, Jessica, Danny and Naomi came.  Bringing dishes to share and cards.

And, after hosting a large Thanksgiving dinner for how many years?  Over 40 anyway, I am officially passing it on to Suzie and Megan.  I've promised to still cook what I usually do.  The turkey, stuffing, potatoes, cranberry, gravy.  Hmmm. maybe not the potatoes.  I know that over the last few years, I was just exhausted afterwards.  And that's with Dennis doing almost all of the cleanup.  They live less than a mile away, they can do it.  I think Megan is a little worried about it.

My brother and sister will be here.... I know I'll lose out on some leftovers.
